Dissolved oxygen meter for water quality measurement
Dissolved oxygen refers to the amount of
oxygen dissolved in the water, it is one of the important indicators of the
survival of aquatic organisms in the water, but also an important indicator of
the degree of pollution of the water body. Dissolved oxygen is too low,
indicating that the self-purification ability of the water body is low, the
degree of pollution is high, for example, when the water is contaminated by
organic matter, oxygen consumption is high, dissolved oxygen can not be timely
replenishment, thus breeding anaerobic bacteria, the corruption of organic
matter will make the water body blackened and smelly. Generally speaking, the
content of dissolved oxygen in the water is required to be not less than 2mg/L
(national standard V water).
At present, there are online and portable
ways to measure dissolved oxygen, online dissolved oxygen meter can monitor the
value of each time period, but each instrument can only be installed in a fixed
place, if you want to change a place to measure, it is not convenient enough to
use, then the portable dissolved oxygen meter can play its advantage. It is
suitable for on-site testing, as well as regular or irregular testing. The
following is to introduce one of our dissolved oxygen tester.
Germany MN Dissolved Oxygen Meter PF-12PIus
According to Winkler's principle, the
dissolved oxygen content in solution is analysed and determined photometrically
with the Dissolved Oxygen Tester PF-12plus, which is able to achieve the
purpose of measuring water quality efficiently and accurately.
